GARFIELD – Some changes were made official via ordinance Tuesday night to the fee and legal months of operation for outdoor dining.

The City Council also introduced an ordinance for a new 12-person Residents Advisory Board and even went outside their lanes a bit in sharing some choice words about the state of the Garfield School District during some tumultuous times.

During that same meeting, councilmembers transferred a liquor license to a future restaurant and bar, planning to operate out of the old Donia Mediterranean Cuisine building, 2 Cedar St., and heard a longtime resident’s concerns about stormwater runoff on his block.
